And so it goes that this much neglected blog is revived with the help of coffee that i stole from my very nice, beautiful and hopefully unsuspecting roomie and a little bit of spare time due to a fever i contracted somewhere. A tiny and not very descriptive update follows:

I recently applied to The School of Photography at Gothenburg University. As far as I'm told getting accepted is as likely as bumping into Tom Waits while grocery shopping, decide to go for a coffee and then discover midway through a packet of Marlboro and good but slightly weird conversation that he's your long lost uncle. I certainly wouldn't mind either and although i might be crossing my fingers for both (yes, please!) I would be more than happy if i make it as far as the interview round, mostly because im working on a few projects and right now i find it very interesting to see where that takes me.

This past may my grandma turned 70. To celebrate she'd rented a closed down hotel for a weekend it turned out to be quite run down and amazing. I got there earlier than most of the guests and did this little series while it was still empty.
